I have been a keen competitor for a number of years having taken part in competitons from the Cotswolds to Central Scotland.

With the decline in the number of competitions following the Foot and Mouth outbreak in 2001 I entered semi-retirement. Mid Lancashire 2004 was my first competion for almost 4 years.  I retired (again) in 2012.
